Friday and shopping

Today is Friday!!!!!!!!!! (obviously) Since I have absolutely NO clothes, I went to Old Navy. I LOVE what I got. I got a new swimsuit which is SO cute! It's a mix between a tankini and a bikini so I call it a croptopini. I got some new shorts and shirts which is great just before school gets out. Next week is tech week for dance which means I have rehearsal for the recital every day! My cousin Eva (Here's her blog: http://www.evathinks.com/) Face Timed me while she was having a sleepover party thing. It was pretty chaotic. Well we'll see if she's awake enough to do a blog post about it!

Eva's Birthday and Martha's Vineyard

So today is my cousin Eva's birthday, so here's a big shout out to her. Here's her blog:http://www.evathinks.com She's turning 10 today. She's a year younger than me and we're super close. (Not in location though, we're 12 hour driving distance from each other :( ) I am at my Grandparents' house in Cape Cod for memorial day weekend, and today we went to Martha's Vineyard. We went on a ferry and then went to get food. My cousin Liam (Not on the same side as Eva) ate a hotdog over a foot long! He refused to have any appetizers before because he needed 'room in his stomach'. I had a hamburger which was GINORMOUS. I didn't know it would be that big when  I ordered it. After that we got ice cream and I had coffee Oreo! (Delicious!) We went down to a beach area where some guy was kitesurfing. It was super windy, so sometimes he went up like, 20 feet in the air! I am now at my Grandparents' house before we FaceTime Eva and maybe my baby cousins (Same side as Eva) who are twins. They are SO cute! So happy birthday Eva and good luck being double digits!

Shots (the kind to fight diseases) and Orange Leaf

I am SO sorry for not posting in a millennia. But basically, on Tuesday, nothing happened. On Wednesday, I had a half day at school. Since my school is so close to a shopping thing, we all go get food there. So my friends and I got food at a place called Spalla's and then went over to Orange Leaf which is a frozen yogurt place. Yesterday on Thursday, we had PARCC, and then for last period, we got to go out onto the field and just do whatever we wanted since it was so nice out. And today, boy, today was eventful. I had PARCC again, and again we went outside for last period. Then my mom picked me up and we went for a check-up. I was SUPER nervous because I was getting my 11-year-old shots. So when we finally went in and my check-up was done, I got a cholesterol test (finger-print) and two shots. It wasn't that bad. And then after that, we went to Orange Leaf and I got Reese's Peanut Butter, Vanilla, and Oreo. So today was good in the end because I got Frozen Yogurt.

Capture the Football

Today in gym, we have a game called Capture the Football. It's basically like Capture the Flag, but a little bit different. So anyways, when I was running to the football, some person (I don't know who because they were behind me) pushed me while trying to tag me, and I flew. I literally flew like, 2 feet, before collapsing in a heap. My leg really hurts right now, with grass stains and bruises. I also had my last ballet class before my rehearsals for the end of the year show in June. So that was 'fun' with a junked up leg and an important rehearsal on the same day. Dance and Sleepover

Last night my friend Catie had a sleepover. It was really fun, we did makeovers (not skillfully), and we watched 13 Going On 30. She came home with me on the bus and we went to the park up the hill. Today I had jazz. We have a HUGE recital coming up, and today was our last class. We have lots of rehearsals coming up, though. Our dance is to Uptown Funk. But we actually heard it back in December before it became popular on the radio! I guess that's all for today, so come back for the next post!

First Post!

This is my first post so I hope you like it! My name is Margot. You pronounce it like Margo. The spelling with the t is French. (I also thinks it gives my name some pizazz!) I am 11 years old, and I enjoy dance (I do Ballet, Jazz, and Modern), reading, playing the French Horn, math, and that's pretty much it. Yesterday in school we had PARCC. It's held on the computer, and the people who made PARCC must have been like, "This will be a GREAT idea!" But really, practically nobody in my class can type fast, (except for me :) ) and there's a LOT of glitches. Also, in school we got our books for our book talks. They're pretty much like book reports except for you have to read it in front of the entire class. The book I chose is The Isabel Factor. Personally, I don't think book talks are that bad, but if you don't like public speaking I can understand.  So anyways, if you want, you can look at my blog posts (don't expect me to post often) and I hope you enjoy!
